Monica grew up in Modesto, CA. She attended college at California State University Chico, where she was a Liberal Studies major with an area of concentration in multi-cultural education. After graduation, Monica moved to Sacramento and began working with children who had been diagnosed with severe emotional trauma. Having always enjoyed working with children, this experience solidified Monica's commitment to support families through a nurturing, encouraging and holistic approach. In her spare time, Monica enjoys being with her husband and two children, spending time with friends, and being near the water - river, lake, or ocean.
